Pathfinder Energy Developments Names New CEO Rod Chaplin
Oregon, USA – May 17, 2022
Pathfinder Energy Developments has announced that Rod Chaplin has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer. Rod will set the strategy for growing key investments across a number of key energy segments. Based in Oregon USA, Pathfinder Energy Developments is focused on maximizing resource utilization and efficiency across the energy value chain, including solar, batteries and modular nuclear.
Rod has over 15 years’ experience in the energy sector, having most recently led Landis+Gyr’s Australian & New Zealand business and being responsible for their Asia Pacific customer base. Landis+Gyr are a global leader in energy management and communication systems. Prior to this, Rod was the head of commercial for intellihub, an energy data and services start-up that was formed when Landis+Gyr were part of Toshiba Energy. He has previously led teams at IBM in business development for technology and services for the energy industry. Throughout his career, Rod has worked on multiple projects at the intersection of technology and various energy segments, including generation, distribution and retailing. Rod is also and experience non-executive director, having served terms in banking, charity and technology.
